Are you organizing a conference or event in the realm of mental health and wellness? Are you building a panel of experts on personal development and self-care? Consider booking me or another mental health professional as a consultant or speaker for keynote addresses, conferences, and press appearances.

Too often, therapy gets a bad rep—People think it’s cheesy, corny, or self-indulgent, thanks to some characterized media representations of stuffy boring people droning on and on in drab tweed jackets. I’m here to shake that up.

People need to understand that therapists are people, just like them. We’re funny, quirky, savvy, nerdy, and everything in-between. This is what I strive to convey in my keynote addresses. I hit the topics that matter most—like how to cope with anxiety and depression in an insight-oriented way, how to be an effective ally to loved ones with mental, emotional, or behavioral dysfunction, how to extract untapped potential, and more. I touch on real concerns, in a bold, expressive, and relatable way without shying away from my own personal battles. Vulnerability is the fabric of effective communication and liberation, and I can’t expect an audience or a client to be open with me, if I can’t be open in return.

Book me for a speaking engagement and together, we’ll make the topic of mental health more relatable, understandable, and globally normalized.

In my presentations, I draw from a mix of lived experience, professional , clinical acumen, and down-to-earth wisdom to make the topic of mental health and wellness more relatable, understandable, and universally normalized.

KEYNOTES TOPICS:

Living Life “On The Cusp” – A keynote about career transitions for high-achieving professionals and entrepreneurs in NYC and beyond.

Every day, the bright-eyed, inspired, and high-achieving flock to New York City, the Mecca of New Opportunities, with stars in their eyes. Whether business or creative-minded, many just starting out in their careers see New York as a beacon of light with a plethora of exciting opportunities where dreams come true. Once they arrive, however, they often discover things are far less sparkly, and much more challenging, than they could have ever imagined. Excitement dissolves into exhaustion and disillusionment, a great sense of loss creeps in and erodes, and major blows to self-esteem lower moral and self-efficacy, often resulting in burnout and all sorts of unhealthy behaviors.

Dr. Logan speaks to the heart of the floundering millennial – and many New Yorkers – normalizing their experiences so that they feel less alone. Reconnecting them with their belief in themselves and their talents, Dr. Logan re-energizes them so that they can rise above. He motivates and inspires with the concept that many New Yorkers are “on the cusp” of moving towards fulfilling their ever-expanding capacity, and that their lives are just beginning – that is, if they radically embrace reality, reset, and take better care of themselves moving forward. Logan reminds the audience that they can choose to fall forward into greatness, or fall backwards into stagnancy, pain, and regret. The choice is always there.

Breaking Through and Lifting the Veil of Secrecy –  A Keynote Address on Mental Health, Wellness, and the Resilience of the Human Heart for Sufferers and Allies

In this riveting exposé on mental health, Dr. Jones shines a light on one of the biggest health crises in the country (and the world) – untreated mental illness and the neglect of the human soul. Logan gets at the heart of the stigmas surrounding mental health, and offers a safe space in which the audience can set aside the burden and secrecy of shame surrounding unexamined emotional wounds that they’ve been holding onto. He makes a point to address not only people suffering from mental health conditions like depression and anxiety, but also the untapped and disempowered army of allies among us who often struggle to find the right words to say or tools to use to better support their friends, children, partners, and loved ones. Mental health and wellness is both an individual journey and a public responsibility to confront, and Logan reminds audiences that they don’t have to suffer in silence, that we each play a vital role in supporting one another, and that there is work that can be done within at home and beyond in the world at large.

Remember Who You Are – A Keynote Address on Reconnecting with the Human Spirit

In this speech, Dr. Logan illuminates the fundamental existence of the inner child within each of us, and how any mental strife or emotional dysfunction stems, in some degree, from a departure from that child. He reminds the audience that, as children, we were all innocent, hopeful, creative, loving, and unafraid of the future. But, as we move through life and enter into young and early adulthood, we begin accumulating emotional scars and spiritual damage to that original “wonder child,” wrecking our self-image and sense of worth. Logan empowers the audience by helping them relieve our collective pain, thereby reawakening that inner child and remembering who we really are: limitless beings full of capacity with the creative ability to tap into our inner wisdom and power in order to manifest our wildest and most audacious dreams.
